- the motor is the PCB (axial-flux BLDC)350 rpm/V built · zero coggingMy final year project. A brushless motor with no iron and no wound coils — the stator is just a circuit board with copper spirals on it.
- Piko's electronics (biped)one power board, 17 motorsI designed the boards for Piko, a small biped, at Eyecandy Robotics. The hard one was the power board — 17 motors out of one battery.
- a forklift that knows where it is (SLAM on a 4-wheeled forklift)315 m ranging, 0.4% error over 10,000 m²summer research internship at a defence company. autonomous forklift, naval dockyard, no GPS. we ended up writing our own radio ranging firmware.
